When I ponder on our Veterans who have served this great country, several phrases come to mind.  The "Greatest Generation" is one, as is "who more than self their country loved".  Both expressions illustrate the fact that Veterans have given of themselves without question when their country called.  All too often they have given their very lives. 

In our minds and hearts, we know we can never repay them for their countless sacrifices.  If you were to ask them, they would say something like it was their privilege to serve, or maybe they would simply say that no thanks are necessary.  While those sentiments are true, I believe that we should do something to show our earnest appreciation, and this page will show you several ways in which you can do something tangible to help our Veterans, as well as their families who have also sacrificed greatly.
